Odd Question Post, PLEASE REPLY!

1. What did you call your grandparents?

2. What do your kids call their grandparents?

3. Do you have different relationships with your different sets of grandparents?

For example, I'd be fine leaving my newborn with MY mother, but not with my MIL. I have no problem handing a newborn to MY Dad but I would probably want my FIL to sit down first! We are closer to my parents than we are to the in-laws, even though my parents live in PA & the in-laws live across town.

4. Finally, please go vote in my boy name poll if you haven't yet!

THANKS!

I found you randomly through a google alert search. I'd be happy to answer your odd questions. I've got some on my blog, too, so would you mind answering mine too?

1. Grandma & Grandpa and Grandmommy & Granddaddy
2. Grandma & Grandpa and Grandpa & Pearlie
3. yes; I feel exactly the same way. My MIL (and FIL) will be babysitting our 8 month old for the first time on Saturday and I'm a bit nervous about it. Fortunately, the timing will work out so she won't have to feed DD or put her to bed, just play with her. I'm not sure I'm ready for her to feed my daughter yet!
4. I'll be more than happy to.

1. I called my maternal grandparents Grandma and Grandpa. My dad's parents were dead before I was born.

2. Grandma, Grandma Denise, Grandpa Bob/Simmons & Grandpa Al/Odette

3. I would NEVER leave my children alone with my dad. I trust my ILs with the kids, though.

4. Yep!
