Smart Games USA for Adults!

 We have been fans of Smart Games USA for a long time, since Lucas (almost 17) and Vinnie (15) were little!  We own a LOT of their products.  

We also have done several Tryazons for Smart Games already, but when I saw this one come up I knew we needed to take it!

Lucas and Vinnie are getting older and Sulley is almost 10, so one-player brain games that are more challenging are definitely something our family is interested in!

These new games are:

1. GORGEOUS

2. Challenging

3. Fun

4. Great for all ages, even Percy could handle the beginner puzzles

5. Educational

6. Worth the money

We really enjoyed challenging each other, racing to see who could finish first, and also just working on them on our own as a brain exercise.  

If you gameschool, like us, you cannot go wrong with these! 

Minecraft Comes to Sticki Rolls!

 

The little boys and I ran to Walmart this week to get Sticki Rolls new Minecraft blind boxes!!

They were excited that Sticki Rolls has a product that is more unisex now and that they get to collect the cool Minecraft themed bracelets.

They had a blast covering every surface in the house, their Nintendo's and their school supplies in the adorable stickers!

Percy (7) really got into it, creating little story boards with the stickers as the scenes.

Since these are blind boxes, we were able to find them on the aisle with LOTS of other blind box options. Don't be discouraged if they seem to be surrounded by a lot of pink products!

We did have a bit of a hard time getting the capsule open and had to resort to cutting the seam with a blade. But, once we were in, the boys were excited to check out the collector's guide and the little display card. 

Percy got a Lava block bracelet that was listed as uncommon and Sulley got a rare iron and silver bracelet. The shiny beads are so fun!

Each boy was able to get the stickers peeled off the sticker beads on their own.

The bracelets are fun and cute and the boys can wear them as is, or take them apart and make fun new jewelry with them!

This story follows Ace, a human living amongst vampires, through a desperate attempt to protect those she loves.  The earth has stopped spinning and there are monsters no matter where you run.  The world building is easy to follow and creates an environment of desperation and near death encounters.  

When Ace is taken captive, the forced proximity, enemies to lovers' tale plays out in unexpected ways with open door spicy scenes.  Main and side characters are developed enough to inspire the reader to love and hate them, simultaneously.  

As a fan of post-apocalyptic, romantasy, dark romance/fantasy, and monster romance, this book was an easy five star read for me.  I would definitely recommend it to any fans of these genres.

This book will leave you desperate to read its sequel, When the Day Breaks. Both books are out now and available online!
