------

1. Tim's family
2. Our future children's names (Vincent Wayne G. what do you think?)
3. Tim's job
4. (omitted at Tim's request)
5. Guitar Hero
6. What we want for Christmas
7. What we're giving the kids for their birthdays. (By the way, people who have Dec. babies are mean. Dec. birthdays are HARD to fit in!)
8. What we're getting for other people

That's what we talked about tonight. It was a nice meal.

Here's Caro!

You can kind of see her busted lip in these. She "fell at Patty's" and split her lip open.

Honest Scrap!

Melanie from "Smellyann Strikes Again" has given my blog it's first award! Yay!

She's my best-est friend & I love her! Here's what she wrote about my blog:

That just about sums up my blog! I'm blunt & I don't really hold a lot back. It's how I was raised. Sometimes it's a good thing, often its a bad thing, but that's how it is, folks!

Thank you so much Mel! I'm so pleased to get my first blog award!

Of course, there are always rules when accepting such a thing. This time, it's "When you receive the prize, you must write a post showing it, together with the name of who has given it to you, and link them back. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in their content or design. Show their names and links and leave them a comment informing that they were prized with 'Honest Weblog'. List [if you can and/or dare] at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on!"

OK, so I don't really have a ton of blogging friends but I'll pass the award on to 7 blogs & see if they follow up!

1. Momdot! Trisha is the main-poster over at Momdot & she is amazing. She tells it like it is & pretty much shares everything, even her butt crack! She is witty and fun & totally cracks me up!

2. Andrea! from "Andrea's Pencil" I love Andrea! She's a mod over on Ovusoft & Diaperswappers! She's TTC now too & we're in the same buddy groups. Her blog is pretty honest & sweet!

3. Jenna from "For the Love of Baby" ! Jenna's a new friend of mine. We are paired up for Momdot's Christmas gift exchange. I've been reading her blog since we got paired & I really think she's honest and sincere.

4. TBA

5. TBA

6. TBA

7. TBA

And the second half of the requirements are for me to write 10 things about myself. Read on at your own risk!

1. I desperately want a baby. I think about it at least 1 minute out of every 5. I dream about baby stuff.

2. I love Twilight! I am sadly infatuated with Edward. I have read all 4 books & Midnight Sun. I'm re-reading Twilight now. I saw the movie the weekend it came out into theaters.

3. I don't like teaching. I don't really like the kids. I don't like the material I teach. I don't like all the rules and regulations and politics.

4. If I wasn't trying to make a baby, we'd probably have sex like once a month. I was raped before I met Tim & I've NEVER had a healthy sex life. Tim is patient & loves me "just as I am" but yea, that's me. I went to counseling for a long time but I'm still very tense if I feel any kind of pressure.

5. I've always loved Reba. I've been a fan of hers since I was like 10. I've seen her in concert at least 5 times, maybe more. I love her show & all of her music. My favorite song is "What if it's you?"

6. I hate my body. I used to like my legs, but I don't any more. I wish I could be skinnier, but its like next to impossible for me to diet & I suck at exercise.

7. For some reason, watching Prison Break puts me in the mood.

8. I'm SUPER excited about the Sims 3 coming out in February! I have to get a new computer to be able to play it, but I am psyched that it's finally coming out!

9. I am ALWAYS cold. I start wearing my leather coat in August & wore a sweatshirt at Disney World in June!

10. I am the queen of sleeping. I can sleep anywhere and in any position. I can sleep freezing cold or burning up. It is my 1 true GIFT. I can sleep no matter what! Even if I have just finished sleeping for 12 hours, I can go straight back to sleep! Love it!

(THAT was hard!)

I'm sick a-freakin-gain

So, yesterday at lunch time I started to feel like I was getting a headache. I managed to get through the school day. Then around 3:15 my vision started to get blurry & I was in a lot of pain. I hightailed it out of school. I got home around 4 & went straight to bed. I slept on and off (because the darn phone kept ringing) until Tim made me dinner and woke me up somewhere around 7:30. Then I went right back to sleep. (I ate 1/2 a slice of pizza.) I just got up this morning at 6:45 and my head still feels like shit.

According to my chart, I've had a migraine on CD 6 during Cycle 4 & Cycle 6 now. During Cycle 5 I had a migraine on CD 8. I didn't have any early cycle migraines before I started taking Clomid.

Could this be a sign that my body is working? Will I always get a migraine early in my cycle?

Who knows!

Wordless Wednesday!

This one is for Mandy!

Pocahontas: "Where are you from?"
Mandy: Virginia Beach
P: "Oh, I'm from around there!"
M: "Really? Where!?"
P: "Jamestown!"

HA HA HA HA!

I'm seriously laughing out loud remembering that CRAP! HA HA! Too freaking funny!

School, Girl Scouts, and Charting

Well, today was an OK day. Not too good & nothing negative to report.

Work went well. The kids were ok & we got a lot done.

Then I went to Mrs. Clark's to play with baby Xavier. Except he's 8 days old, so all he did was sleep. But, you know I just ate that up. Yummy new baby.

We talked & laughed and shared stories!

Then, I went to TAPS and got some G.S. stuff & 2 posters for my classroom.

Then I went back to school & read some of "Midnight Sun" the 'unreleased' Twilight sequel from Edward's point of view. Edward makes my heart flutter. I literally SWOON when I read about him/from him....in the Twilight books. There are SO many quotes from Edward that make my heart beat race! I LOVE Stephenie Meyer's writing. I think I'll get her other book, "The Host" and read it too.

Then it was time for Girl Scouts. We didn't do any badge work but we were busy! The girls made cards for a kindergartener who's 27 yo mom died this weekend. Then we discussed an upcoming badge day, we are going to work on the "Let's Get Cooking" and "Art to Wear" badges. Then we discussed our left over products that ignorant parents returned & refused to pay for. Then we talked about our Christmas party & Secret Santa. The girls don't totally get the whole Secret Santa thing, but their parents do & that's what matters. Our party is in 2 weeks. I cannot believe its almost Christmas!

Mel-when do you want to get together to celebrate/let the kids have their gifts? I'm doing Christmas with my sisters on Sunday Dec. 21 and then leaving town on Tuesday Dec. 23. We'll be back on Monday Dec. 29. Loren is house sitting/dog sitting/bird & fish sitting, while we're gone.

When I got home at 8:30, Tim and I ate some soup, I checked out my blogs & forums & then watched most of "Clear and Present Danger."

Now, it's bedtime.

Chemical Pregnancy

Well folks, it's confirmed.

I have just experienced a chemical pregnancy. Basically that means that I WAS pregnant, but that the hormones in my body didn't support the pregnancy & I miscarried.

The plan is:

A. wait for bloodwork to come back tomorrow
B. take December off of the baby making. (no 9/09/09 baby for me!)
C. Chart only my temps & try to be "stress free"
D. If I ovulate NATURALLY then we will TRY TRY TRY. If I don't, I'll wait & see what happens period wise. If I get a period, yay! If not, oh well. I'll go a month & then call Dr. Morgan & have him give me provera to start my period, so that I can move onto another round of Clomid.
E. If I ovulate naturally, then we have to decide whether or not we want to continue to use Clomid (just for added assurance that I will O or to regulate my cycle) or go at it on our own w/o the Clomid.

Becuase I WAS pregnant, we know that:
A. my tubes are open (or at least 1 of them is)
B. Tim's sperm can do the job
C. I am indeed ovulating thanks to the Clomid
D. Tim and I are able to time intercourse correctly
E. The only tests we may still need to do are hormonal!

Here's some info on chemical pregnancies, C & Ped from Babyhopes.com

What Is A Chemical Pregnancy?
A chemical pregnancy is the clinical term used for a very early miscarriage. In many cases, the positive pregnancy test was achieved before the woman’s period was due but a miscarrige occured before a heartbeat was able to be seen on an ultrasound.
With the ultra sensitive pregnancy tests on the market today, it is easier than ever to get a positive result 3 or 4 days before your period is due. It is wonderful for those who NEED to know, but does have it’s down side. Early testing shows chemical pregnancies which would not have been detected had the woman waited for her period to arrive.
Chemical pregnancies are unfortunately very common. 50 to 60% of first pregnancies end in miscarriage very early in pregnancy. Most occur without the woman even knowing that she was pregnant.
What Causes a Chemical Pregnancy?
Most chemical pregnancies are due to chromosomal problems in the developing fetus. Other possible causes are inadequate uterine lining, uterine abnormalities both congenital or acquired like fibroids, low hormone levels, luteal phase defect or certain infections.
How can I Prevent Chemical Pregnancies?
Most chemical pregnancies can not be prevented. If you have recurring chemical pregnancies, your doctor should be able to investigate and help you formulate a treatment which is best for you. Potential treatments include vitamin B6 (at least 50mg a day), progesterone cream, and baby asprin. Be sure to discuss potential treatments with your doctor.
